Spring 2015: Growing my Zoya Nail Lacquer Collection

Zoya nail polish

Zoya Nail Lacquers (L-R): Carey, Kennedy, Bela (favorite!), Addison, Madeline and Noir

Since trying Zoya out last year, I’ve been slowing growing my collection and it has become my favorite nail polish/lacquer brand. Its durability, ease of application, great color range and animal-friendly policies make it an easy choice. In fact, I first took a look at Zoya after researching ingredients in nail polishes that I already own. I just took Bela off my nails after two weeks of wear with only minimal chipping at the corners.

It goes on easily without needing more than two coats; the formulas are usually a little thicker than I expect but there’s no streaking and it always looks perfect once it dries. Depending on how hard I am on my nails, I can go up to 2.5 weeks before seeing chipping and the quickest I’ve experienced chipping is 1 week.

I think my next purchases will be some reds and maybe a couple of other grays. If you have a color to recommend or any questions, be sure leave a comment!

Zoya Nail Lacquers: quick note, notice the metallic sheen on Addison (center)? I didn’t until after application.
