Whish Body Butter | Whish Shave Cream Review

Whish Body Butter and Shave Cream

I’ve been trying out a new brand of body care items the last few months with great results, and so I wanted to share! Just a bit of background– I have sensitive skin that doesn’t do well with a lot of popular brands. A lot of times, commonly used soaps and lotions will leave me with an itchy case of hives or a dermatitis breakout– usually from fragrance-related ingredients. Whish is one of those rare products that smells absolutely divine and that also works with my skin.

Skincare Foods: Three foods that improved my skin

foods for skin

This is something I’ve only touched on in the past—but I think it’s worth a little more discussion– how foods can improve the appearance of our skin. I feel like it’s a little bit of a controversial topic because: 1) the research behind it isn’t terribly strong; 2) the results can be extremely subjective in interpretation and; 3) the most recent nutrition studies seem to indicate that there may be epigenetic explanations behind the way that our bodies interact with different foods (meaning that genetics may play a role in determining if one food is good for person A and at the same time is bad for person B).

Review: Replenix Pure Hydration Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Replenix Pure Hydration Hyaluronic Acid Serum

If you think that I say things are amazing far too often– let me just say that I try a lot of products that never make it anywhere near this blog. So, believe me when I tell you that the Pure Hydration Hyaluronic Acid Serum from Replenix is actually amazing.

Three weeks ago, I received a generous sample of Replenix Pure Hydration Serum from one of my favorite retail skincare websites as a gift for purchasing something else, and decided to use the serum as a base under Tazorac and then followed up with CeraVe PM. After a few weeks, the difference this has made to the appearance in my skin is a bit flabbergasting. Everyone from coworkers to friends have commented on both the brightened  tone and smoothness of my skin.

Current Concealer Routine: Product Reviews and Techniques

My currently most-used concealers seem to run the gamut as far as formulation goes. I’ve been using a combination of creams and liquids to both conceal and brighten with varying results. I’ve also been testing out a variety of brushes to work with products and have found a few favorites, so it’s definitely time to share.
