Adie’s Five Early Fall Favorites Under $20

1. Candles – World Market Mexican Pumpkin Candle $4.99-19.99

With autumn right around the corner, or at least just a few weeks away, I love to fill my house with fragrances that will helped get me excited for the season. I already spend an embarrassing amount of time at World Market, so it was easy to grab one of their candles during my last jaunt through their aisles. And I am not disappointed. The Mexican Pumpkin scented candle is delicious, and it comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. One of the things that I like best about this candle is that I can often catch a whiff of it in the air, even when it isn’t lit. Bonus!

2. LPLP Linea Pelle Wristlet for Target $19.99 in Orange

I love when Target collaborates with designers, and this wristlet is a perfect example as to why I anticipate such collections months in advance. This wristlet works for me on days when I don’t feel like lugging around my bag, and it comes with a strap that you can sling over your shoulder or wear across your body so that your hands can be free at all times.

3. Essie Nail Polish in Sew Psyched $8 at Essie.com or local carrier

I actually picked this color up last year, I believe, in Essie’s 2011 Fall Collection and it’s been a favorite ever since. Or maybe it was 2010? Either way, the color is fantastic. The olive/mossy-green works great with my skin tone and provides a refreshing blast of color that is muted enough that I feel comfortable wearing it in all situations.

4. Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter on sale at Sephora $3

I carry this body butter in my purse with me because the fragrance is like a blast of happiness, and my skin really needs help when the temperatures begin to cool. As a chronic hand washer, the change in weather mixed with multiple trips to the sink everyday certainly requires me to moisturize more frequently. It also works in a pinch for elbows or any other areas that you might have forgotten in the morning but is still small enough to fit in your bag.

5. Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Voluptuous Violet $16

As with my hands, my lips also suffer come September. This year, I’ve been thrilled to find Clinique’s chubby sticks back in my local stores. Their sheer purplish-berry colors suit my skin tone very well and these sticks offer the right amount of color in a moisturizing balm that is easy to toss in my purse.
